Mom's Visit to Korea!

This past month my mom came to see me! We had a great time. We ate a ton of food and drank lots of cheap Korean beer. Here are some pictures from her visit.

We went to Seoul , so of course we had to go to the cat cafe in Hongdae.

My co-teacher let my mom come to school for the day. It was fun to see the kids interact with her and let her see what I do.

I took her downtown for some traditional Korean drinks - like tequila in a glorified zip-lock!

We spent a day in Gyeongju getting some culture.

It was a fantastic trip; I wish I had taken more pictures!

Family bonding - back to my hometown!

My parents are so great, they also had a barbecue for me. We ate American food, drank Canadian beer, and played Michigan card games.

My dad and I went to a shooting range and shot zombies.

We ate good food and delicious drinks.

It was a wonderful adventure and exactly what I needed. I am so happy that I got to spend so much time with everyone, and everyone set aside time to see me. I truly have some amazing people in my life and am so grateful for them.

Now, I have already left Michigan. I'm traveling to Washington DC for a few days before flying back to Korea. Expect a few more blog posts soon wrapping up my trip home - including my college town, Pittsburgh and NYC, and DC!
