Road Trip!

Lauren, David, Pat and I decided to go on a road trip. We stayed the night in Pittsburgh, spent about a week in NYC, and spent an afternoon at a state park in Pennsylvania. It was a fantastic trip, and I am so glad that we went. I took 500 pictures, and tried to narrow it down the best I could, so here are some of my favorite sights and moments on the trip!

Pittsburgh:

Duquesne Incline

New York City:

New York Public Library

St. Patrick's Cathedral

MoMA

Times Square

Grand Central Terminal

UN Headquarters

Central Park

New WTC building

NYSE

Staten Island Ferry

Fort Wadsworth

Empire State Building

The Universal Soldier: the Korean War Memorial

Statue of Liberty

Playing cards in the park

Pennsylvania:

Right now I am in Washington D.C. with Lauren - helping her move in and doing some sight-seeing. Expect some exciting updates about this trip! I'll be leaving here Friday to head back to Daegu and move into my new place. I'm so nervous and excited to head back and start my new position, wish me luck!

Family bonding - back to my hometown!

America is fantastic! The last time I posted was a month ago. I've been insanely busy! See:

This is me ripping down wallpaper. It's part of family bonding time, and that is what this post is all about. These are all pictures from my trip to my hometown.

My parents are so great, they also had a barbecue for me. We ate American food, drank Canadian beer, and played Michigan card games.

Small children like my Korean masks.

My dad and I went to a shooting range and shot zombies.

We ate good food and delicious drinks.

It was a wonderful adventure and exactly what I needed. I am so happy that I got to spend so much time with everyone, and everyone set aside time to see me. I truly have some amazing people in my life and am so grateful for them.

Now, I have already left Michigan. I'm traveling to Washington DC for a few days before flying back to Korea. Expect a few more blog posts soon wrapping up my trip home - including my college town, Pittsburgh and NYC, and DC!
