Family bonding - back to my hometown!

America is fantastic! The last time I posted was a month ago. I've been insanely busy! See:

This is me ripping down wallpaper. It's part of family bonding time, and that is what this post is all about. These are all pictures from my trip to my hometown.

My mother

Aunt Julie, cousins Kelly and Jade

Cousin Kyle, Julie, me, Jade

Kyle and Jade, Radar

My parents are so great, they also had a barbecue for me. We ate American food, drank Canadian beer, and played Michigan card games.

Small children like my Korean masks.

My parents

My dad and I went to a shooting range and shot zombies.

We ate good food and delicious drinks.

It was a wonderful adventure and exactly what I needed. I am so happy that I got to spend so much time with everyone, and everyone set aside time to see me. I truly have some amazing people in my life and am so grateful for them.

Now, I have already left Michigan. I'm traveling to Washington DC for a few days before flying back to Korea. Expect a few more blog posts soon wrapping up my trip home - including my college town, Pittsburgh and NYC, and DC!

  1. I am glad I was able to spend so much time with you too. I am going to miss you so much, you've been gone less than 24 hours and I am sad already. Enjoy your adventure and keep in touch. We love you so much.
